About the role
Posterngate surgery are seeking a positive, caring and self motivated Pharmacist to bring their knowledge and expertise to expand our experienced and welcoming clinical team.
Working with our multidisciplinary team to support clinicians in implementing effective dispensing, prescription management, prescribing systems and medicines management within the practice.
Posterngate surgery is a large, innovative and high performing teaching practice. Working together with Selby Town Primary Care Network, we are a friendly, hardworking and supportive practice that aims to achieve the highest quality of care for or patients. A systmone practice with a skill mix consists of 6 GP Partners, Salaried GPs, First Contact Physios, Mental Health Practitioners, Urgent Care Practitioners and Pharmacy Team supported by Practice Nurses and HCA's. Easy access from York & Leeds with free on-site parking and modern comfortable premises.

Essential
- Practising Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
- A demonstrable commitment to professional development
- Post-registration experience - minimum three years
- Experience of primary care clinical IT systems
- Primary care and or medicines management in primary care
- Understanding of current national policies, in particular those that impact on medicines management services
- A knowledge of prescribing issues affecting primary care and the interface with other areas of health and social care
