About the role
We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our team. Working hours: Part-time (4 to 6 sessions to be worked per week). To include Tuesdays and Fridays. The practice is friendly, operating EMIS Web clinical system and is committed to providing a high quality service to our patients.
The role will involve undertaking some aspects of triage, telephone consultations, face to face consultations and home visits as well as contributing to our Quality Outcomes Framework.
Applicants would need good interpersonal skills, and be flexible and reliable.
This is a busy practice, with a list size of approximately 13,200 patients and an above average elderly population. We have a highly skilled and experienced clinical team including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCA's, Practice Pharmacist and Care Co-ordinator. Achieve excellent QOF points
Person specification
Essential
- Qualified GP
- MRCGP
- Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
- General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- Experience of continued professional development
- General understanding of the GMS contract
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong IT skills
