Consultant in Cellular Pathology

We are recruiting a substantive Consultant Cellular Pathologistatthe Royal Sussex County Hospital. You will work within supportive and experienced subspecialtyteamsinGynecologicalandGastrointestinal Pathologytohelp deliver highquality,timelydiagnostics. You will also contribute to leadership,training,research,and ourregional Sussex network collaboration.

The clinical duties of the post include the following: Independent reporting of diagnostic cellular pathology case with a focus on Gynaecological and Gastrointestinal Pathology. Participation in relevant Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and provision oftimelyclinicopathological advice. Clinical supervision of trainees and contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate education (including BSMS). Participation in clinical governance, audit, EQA, quality improvement, servicedevelopmentand leadership. Adherence to Trust policies including information governance, health and safety, safeguarding and equality,diversityand inclusion.
