Salaried GP (ARRS)

Following the release of ARRS GP information and funding we are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking GP to join Healthier West Wirral Primary Care Network. We will consider applications for between 8 and 9 sessions with a start of August 2026.

Undertake home visits for patients in need of medical attention, including those who are housebound or unable to attend surgery and have been referred by their practice, as part of our home visiting team . Provide comprehensive and timely care to patients, ensuring appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Provide general practice care across our GP Practices within Healthier West Wirral PCN, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of same day acute conditions in our PCN GP Acute Hub. Work collaboratively with practice teams, including nursing staff, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, and other ARRS roles. Contribute to improving access to care for patients, reducing waiting times, and supporting clinical capacity within the practices.

Healthier West Wirral PCN supports a population of over 70,000 patients across 5 different Practices including Marine Lake Medical Practice, Myrtle Group Practice, Upton Group Practice, West Wirral Group Practice and Greasby Group Practice. We are an ambitious and forward thinking organisation that has already had much success building a large PCN team including Physician Associates, ACPs, Phamacists, Pharmacy Tech, Nurses, Care Coordinators and Paramedics.
