About the role
This is a substantive Consultant Radiologist post in Urological and Differences of Sex Development/Complex Congenital Gynaecological (DSD/CCG) Radiology at University College London Hospitals, based in the Radiology Department at UCH. The post-holder must have subspecialty experience in uro and gynae imaging, including DSD/CCG imaging, as well as general / oncology cross sectional radiology, in order to support the delivery of the radiology services at UCH.
The successful appointee will work with a team of consultants who specialise in Urological and Gynaecological radiology. They will also provide the sole radiology support to the DSD/CCG team. There are extensive opportunities for academic collaboration with University College London and its medical school.
The post-holder will work closely with the existing team of consultant radiologists to develop and enhance the imaging service provided to acute, outpatient and inpatient services and to strengthen the reporting profile of the department. The Radiology Department is very active in both teaching and research and the post-holder would be expected to participate in these.
Applicants should possess the FRCR or equivalent and be on the specialist register or within 6 months of obtaining their CCST.
