CAMHS Consultant East Sussex Community and Liaison(£45k RRP)

We are recruiting to the Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist post within the Hastings & Rother CAMHS service. The post-holder will join an established and supportive psychiatry and wider multi-disciplinary team, playing a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to children and young people aged 0-18. In addition to community CAMHS responsibilities, the post-holder will also contribute to the CAMHS Liaison service, providing specialist assessment and review for young people presenting with complex needs and high-risk mental health difficulties within the acute hospital setting. The service we provide is in line with NICE Evidenced Based Treatment for those children and young people. You will provide high quality specialist clinical assessments, including relevant psychiatric and physical investigation to children, young people and their families in a range of settings, and work collaboratively with other members of the team to plan and deliver appropriate individually tailored treatment plans.
