An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Dermatologist to join Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a forward-thinking organisation committed to delivering outstanding patient care, education, research, and innovation. Our Dermatology Department provides a comprehensive range of medical dermatology, skin cancer, biologic, paediatric dermatology services to a diverse population across West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated multidisciplinary team based at St Luke's Hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while embracing new technologies and service developments. Full time / Part time fixed term locum post for 23 months

We have two main hospital sites: Bradford Royal Infirmary and St Luke's Hospital. Maternity Services are centralised at the maternity unit on the Bradford Royal Infirmary site which includes our neonatal unit. The main theatres and emergency admissions are located at Bradford Royal Infirmary while St Luke's Hospital provides a large outpatient facility and wards for therapy and rehabilitation. In 2021/22 our Trust services delivered 5,525 babies, performed 13,102 operations in theatre and handled 423,154 outpatient appointments. We had 108,503 attendances at our Emergency Department

Essential

Evidence of completing an approved period of training in Dermatology
Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of Dermatological problems
Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
Ability to perform the requirements of the post
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Commitment to working cooperatively and collaboratively with other health professionals and organisations
Ability to work effectively in multi-professional teams
Ability to organise and manage daily working priorities
Leadership Qualities
MBChB or equivalent
MRCP or FRCS of equivalent to specialty (UK) or equivalent
Full GMC registration and hold licence to practise

Desirable

Evidence of sub-specialty interests would be beneficial
Additional postgraduate training (eg clinical research or medical education)
Higher degree (eg MD, PHD or equivalent)
