Salaried GP

RIVERSIDE MEDICAL PRACTICE A VIBRANT TOWN CENTRE TRAINING PRACTICE We are seeking to recruit a Salaried GP, working up to 8 sessions to work alongside our friendly, experienced team. We would love you to visit and meet us. We offer a competitive salary-BMA compatible starting at £11,410 per session but this may be higher depending on your experience and skills. Flexible working considered. BMA contract We are a training practice set in the heart of a fabulous town. We moved to our amazing purpose-built building in 2020.Our town centre location is within 5 minute's walk of Shrewsbury indoor market, which has, on four occassions, been voted Britain's favourite indoor market. Our town centre is thriving and goes some way to explain why Shrewsbury has been cited in The Times newspapers list of 10 best places to live 2025. With proximity to wonderful countryside, a formidable food scene and good local state schools, we feel very lucky to live and work in our town. We are Skilled Worker Visa (Tier 2 visa) sponsorship licence approved.

We are an innovative team, keen to try out new ways of working. We are regularly adapting how we work to make our jobs as GPs more sustainable and enjoyable. Exciting initiatives include AccuRx digital triage though our in-house duty hub and the outsourcing our daily medicines management work. We are also looking at ways to improve continuity for both patients and GPs. We try to minimise administrative work through effective workflow and the triage of pathology results. (Typically 7-10 letters a day and 7-10 results)
