Salaried General Practitioner

Our extremely successful, high achieving and pragmatic semi-rural village practice is offering you the chance to work as a salaried GP. Working in a modern, practice owned surgery as part of our dedicated clinical team along with friendly, supportive administrative staff. We require 6 sessions per week. Tuesday is essential, other sessions can be worked on Monday, Thursday or Friday.

Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on performers list. Provide general medical services for our patient population. Able to make a long term commitment to the practice and to make an active contribution towards the continuing success of the practice. Keen to work collaboratively with our clinical and administrative staff. Commitment to delivering high quality care. Duty doctor cover will be required. Salaried GP will be required to process test results and clinical admin for other clinicians, for example nurse practitioners, locums and GP's on leave. Salaried GP will be required to complete some medical reports. Home visits for housebound and care home patients.

Supportive working environment, in a friendly, well established team. Wellbeing programme embedded within practice life. Teaching practice for year 3 and year 5 medical students. Total triage system is established. Low numbers of home visits due to compact practice area and ARRS paramedic home visiting team. Excellent out of hours medical service.
