Maternity Cover GP

Solent View Medical Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and patient centred GP for 4 - 6 sessions per week for maternity cover to join our forward thinking friendly practice in Lee-on-the-Solent Hampshire. We are a well organised practice with a strong focus on providing safe high quality care and staff wellbeing.

As a maternity coverGP, you will be a key clinical member of our practice team, managing a diverse patient caseload and delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary care. You will work autonomously within agreed clinical governance frameworks, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to practice development and quality improvement.

Solent View Medical Practice is located within the Lee-on-the-Solent Health Centre on Manor Way PO13 9JG. We proudly provide high quality, patient centred care to a growing list of 13,000 patients, with a strong focus on continuity for individuals and families of all ages. We are a warm, enthusiastic, and supportive team with a clear patient focused ethos and a strong culture of collaboration. Our multidisciplinary workforce includes GP Partners, a Salaried GP, ANPs, Paramedics, a Physician Associate, Practice Nurses, HCAs, and a wide range of PCN ARRS roles. As a training practice, we support the development of future clinicians by hosting F2 and ST2 doctors, as well as student nurses. We are committed to ongoing professional development and actively encourage progression across all roles. We work closely with our neighbouring practices in Gosport PCN with access to Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First contact Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers and Care Co-ordinators to strengthen capacity and maintain consistently high standards of patient care.
