Salaried GP with a View to Partnership

Amersham Health Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP, with a view to Partnership, to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who is looking for a long-term role within a well-established practice and who may be interested in progressing to Partnership in the future. The post is for 6 sessions per week, ideally working Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We would, however, be happy to discuss some flexibility around the working pattern for the right candidate. We are looking for a GP who values continuity of care, enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and is keen to contribute to the ongoing development of the practice. We offer a supportive working environment, 15-minute appointments, an experienced clinical and administrative team and a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a sustainable workload for our clinicians.

The successful candidate will provide the full range of general medical services expected within a busy GP practice, working collaboratively with our GP Partners, salaried GPs, nursing team and wider multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities will include: Undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations.

Managing acute and chronic medical conditions.

Reviewing and actioning pathology and investigation results.

Prescribing and medication reviews in accordance with current guidance.
