Salaried GP

South Street Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a small practice with a list size of approximately 4,000 patients, based at Ilkeston Health Centre. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, personal patient care while creating a positive and supportive working environment for our team. Following changes within our GP team, including the planned retirement of one of our long-standing GPs, we are looking for a Salaried GP who would like to become an important part of the future of our practice.

We are looking for a Salaried GP for approximately 4 to 6 sessions per week, with flexibility for the right candidate. The postholder will undertake the full range of general practice duties.

South Street Surgery is a close-knit practice where GPs, nurses and the wider practice team work collaboratively and genuinely know their patients.

We have a supportive clinical team including GP Partners, an experienced nursing team, healthcare assistant and regular locum support, backed by an established and proactive administrative team. We are proud of the feedback we receive from our patients and have performed extremely well in both the national patient satisfaction survey and the Friends and Family test. We actively encourage innovation, quality improvement and new ways of working while retaining the personal approach of a smaller practice.
