Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team on our brand-new Mixed Acute Ward. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week the actual salary for this role is £140,800 per annum.

Join Priory Hospital Bristol as a Consultant Psychiatrist on our brand-new Mixed Acute Ward, providing specialist inpatient care for adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. Youll provide high-quality, recovery-focused clinical care while working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centred treatment.

Key responsibilities: Take clinical responsibility for patients, including ward rounds, risk reviews and care planning. Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act. Support referrals, admissions and pre-admission assessments. Provide psychiatric expertise to the multidisciplinary team across assessment, formulation and treatment. Contribute to clinical governance, service development and strategic planning. Support training and supervision of multidisciplinary colleagues, including junior medical staff. Maintain CPD and revalidation requirements. Participate in the on-call rota, including cover at satellite sites where reasonably required.
