Consultant Psychiatrist + 20K RRP

This is a substantive Consultant appointment which attracts a Recruitment and Retention Premium (RRP) of £20,000, payable as a recruitment incentive for new starters, subject to Trust policy and specific terms and conditions. The Recruitment and Retention Premium will be paid over a three-year period as follows: £10,000 on taking up post £5,000 at the commencement of year 2 £5,000 at the commencement of year 3 This provides a total value of £20,000 over three years, subject to continued eligibility. In addition, the post is eligible for relocation expenses of up to £8,000, in line with Trust relocation policy and subject to eligibility criteria. Applicants wishing to claim relocation supportmustdeclare this at interview, as relocation support cannot be approved or applied retrospectively. Recruitment and Retention Premia and relocation expenses arenon-pensionable, subject to ongoing eligibility, and will be paid in accordance with Trust policies in place at the time of appointment. The Trust reserves the right to amend or withdraw recruitment incentives in line with NHS Employers guidance and local policy. Any repayment provisions applicable in the event of early termination of employment will be set out in the written terms and conditions issued on appointment.
