Salaried GP

Due to retirement Blyth Road Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed salaried GP to join our practice in Maltby, near Rotherham, just 10 minutes from J1 of the M18. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred general practice care, with the number of sessions and working days agreed on appointment. About our practiceWe provide a broad range of primary care services, including the assessment and treatment of acute illness and the management of long-term conditions. Our approach emphasises partnership between patients and healthcare professionals, supported by an active Patient Participation Group. The practice also offers online patient services and accessible facilities.

Blyth Road Medical Centre is rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission and was ranked Number 1 in Rotherham in the GP Patient Survey 2025.

The Role You will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care across the full range of general practice. Responsibilities will include Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients through face-to-face and remote consultations. Supporting continuity of care, including the management of long-term conditions and patients with complex needs. Undertaking home visits where clinically appropriate and in line with agreed practice arrangements. Managing prescriptions, test results, referrals and clinical correspondence. Maintaining accurate clinical records and practising in accordance with current clinical guidance. Contributing to clinical meetings, audit, quality improvement and safeguarding.
