About the role
The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT) is seeking 2 highly motivated, clinically able applicants, who wish to gain experience in clinical IT to work within our Chief Clinical Information Officers (CCIO) team. MYTT has launched a transformational programme to deliver the Nervecentre EPR in 2 tranches over the next 18 months and these posts are funded through that programme.
The post has been specifically designed for trainees who are looking to take a 12-month break from their training, after successfully completing at least their FY2 year.
This is a 12-month post, beginning as soon as possible, however an August 2026 start date is preferable and would be part time 50%. Applicants will have the opportunity to join the internal locum bank to work shifts in their chosen specialty to maintain clinical skills and networking.
Successful applicants will work cross-site at Pinderfields Hospital and Dewsbury District Hospital. MYTT is procuring and implementing a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and the successful applicant would be working alongside the project team to help deliver this large transformational project.
