About the role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly, experienced and supportive clinical team at Culcheth Medical Centre. This permanent, part-time position is for 6 sessions per week, comprising 5 clinical sessions and 1 protected administrative session for CPD and clinical administration. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established, forward-thinking GP training practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to our patient population through a combination of face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Responsibilities include assessing and managing acute and chronic conditions, reviewing and actioning clinical correspondence and investigation results, safe and effective prescribing, participation in quality improvement and clinical governance activities, and contributing to the practice home visiting service. The postholder will work closely within our multidisciplinary team and support the educational and training ethos of the practice.
Culcheth Medical Centre is a well-established, CQC-rated Good GP practice serving approximately 12,600 patients in the village of Culcheth, Warrington. We are an accredited GP Training Practice and an active member of the Warrington Innovation Network (WIN), committed to delivering high-quality healthcare while supporting education, innovation and professional development. We provide placements for GP Registrars, Student Nurses and Pharmacists, creating a positive learning environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are encouraged.
