About the role
We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team. The post is to commence in 11 September 2026 for 12 months. 40 hours per week no on-call. The fellow will be required and expected to undertake research activities and publications, teaching and being involved in academic activities. Papers and publications are an integral part of the post and the fellow is expected to produce multiple manuscripts. In addition, database entry (local, national and international) for cases will also be an essential and important part of activities. There will also be administration commitment and periodic out-patient clinic involvement. This post is an opportunity to gain experience in advanced CTO & complex PCI in a high-volume UK centre including all aspects of interventional cardiology. This post would be suitable for a candidate who has a sound basis in PCI and would like to further enhance their skills in CTO & complex PCI prior to application for substantive consultant interventional posts.
