Locum Consultant in the department of Gynae Oncology Surgery
This post will deliver 10 PAs supporting the Gynae Oncology team (Mr Broadhead, Mr Nugent, Miss Kaufmann, Mr Theophilou, Miss Thangavelu, Mr de Jong). The post-holder will provide clinical, theatre and on call activities. There will be opportunities to contribute to MDT and Departmental meetings.
The post will be based at St James' University Hospital.
The successful applicant should hold accreditation in Gynae Oncology in the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Applicants should have established skills in Gynae Oncology. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Surgeon to join the Gynaecological Oncology Surgical Department for a fixed-term period of 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded, specialist multidisciplinary team delivering complex gynaecological oncology surgery to patients across Leeds and the wider region.
