About the role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and forward thinking colleague into the role of a locum Consultant in General Otolaryngology with an interest in head and neck for a fixed 12 month post. This is a 10 programmed activity (PA's) fixed term locum post created to support the elective recovery and support the Head and Neck services within the ENT department. As this is a vacancy within a substantive post the successful applicant can start as soon as possible.
It is an exciting time at the Trust with the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) having opened in October 2024 and we are looking for innovative and progressive clinicians to join us as we expand the service.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with FRCS (or equivalent) who are on the full General Medical Council's Specialist Register in Otolaryngology, Head-Neck Surgery with a license to practice, or who will be within six months of obtaining their CCT at the time of interview. In addition applicants should demonstrate within their application that they are fully trained in general Otolaryngology with a wide experience in the subspecialty. The applicant will preferably have obtained a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery.
