SHARP Senior Clinical Fellow Anaesthetics with interest in PHEM

An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a SHARP Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia with an interest in pre-hospital medicine (PHEM). This 12-month fellowship is the perfect opportunity for an experienced anaesthetist with an interest in PHEM to gain more insight and involvement into pre-hospital work. The well-established fellowship will be closely mentored to optimise your professional development and experience, facilitating unique opportunities and providing a solid foundation to your future PHEM career. It is expected that you will cover full on call duties with normal daytime work prioritised to your fellowship opportunities. Resident on-call duties are on a 1:8 rota with prospective cover and will cover either general or obstetric anaesthesia services, or ICU. These hours are 08:00-18:00, 08:00-20:30 and 20:00-08:30. There are three tiers of resident anaesthetic and intensive care cover within the hospital who work as a team to provide out of hour cover with non-resident consultant support.
