Salaried GP

Kingswood Medical Centre in Basildon is looking for a salaried GP to join our friendly practice. We are lucky to operate from modern purpose-built premises. We are looking for the salaried GP to work 2 to 3 sessions per week, and we are flexible with hours/sessions required and would welcome any discussion about working pattern and offer a generous salary for the post. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you would be supported by the senior clinicians, if required, and an accomplished admin team. We would be receptive to any special interests that the candidate may wish to pursue.

Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation. Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients. Providing health education. Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards using templates provided (Ardens). Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements. Delivering enhanced services in conjunction with the clinical team. All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
