Consultant Neurologist

Medinet are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Consultant Neurologist for weekend sessions taking place on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 6:00pm.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality neurological care to patients across a diverse population while contributing to service development, teaching, research, and innovation. As a Consultant Neurologist, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You will work closely with colleagues across specialties to deliver exceptional patient-centred care and help shape the future of neurology services.

Main duties include:

Leading specialist neurology outpatient clinics. Provide inpatient neurology consultations and expert advice to clinical colleagues. Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, headaches, and other complex neurological conditions. Participate in consultant on-call and specialty rotas as required. Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and integrated patient care pathways. Support service improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities. Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of junior doctors and medical students. Contribute to research, innovation, and quality improvement programmes.
