Consultant Psychiatrist - Lewes NMHT (£45k RRP)

We are seeking a Full time (10 PA per week) Consultant Psychiatrist to join the newly formed Specialist Adult Mental Health Service within the Lewes Neighbourhood, East Sussex. You will be joining a mutually supportive, friendly and enthusiastic team with a real passion for what we do. This job attracts aRecruitment and Retention payment of £45,000structured over a three-year period as follows: o£15,000 payable upon successful recruitment o£10,000 payable at 12 months' service o£10,000 payable at 24 months' service o£10,000 payable at 36 months' service The Recruitment and Retention payment is pro rata for part time employees. The team is gradually moving to a Neighbourhood model, where secondary care works in close collaboration with GPs, East Sussex Wellbeing, third sector services and other local partners, to offer the right help in the right place and by the right professional, reducing the excessive and inappropriate demands on specialist services. Towards the same aim, we have implemented fully New Ways of Working for psychiatrists and will soon introduce the post-CPA recommendations of NHSE and a new Electronic Patient Record system
