Package Description: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Specialty Doctor to join our friendly and dynamic Community Paediatrics team, delivering high-quality care to children, young people and families across Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) and Wiltshire. The post holder will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and ongoing care, sharing all aspects of community paediatric work with colleagues. Applicants should bring relevant experience in the clinical management of children, including those with neurodevelopmental difficulties, alongside a strong commitment to safeguarding practice. The role includes participation in the child protection on-call rota, including involvement in joint agency responses for child deaths. Applicants should possess, or be within six months of obtaining, a CCT in Paediatrics at the time of appointment. Our services are integrated and collaborative, co-located with safeguarding and looked after childrens nursing teams, community childrens nursing, school nursing, speech and language therapy, and Integrated Therapies across Wiltshire.
