Salaried GP - Maternity cover

Wychbury Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for a 10-month maternity cover position, commencing 21 September 2026. The role is for 6 sessions per week, worked across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We care for approximately 22,800 patients across three sites in Dudley and have a well-established multidisciplinary team, including 18 GPs. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs. Applicants requiring Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Wychbury Medical Group holds a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence and has a successful track record of supporting international doctors. Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Provide high-quality clinical care for patients with acute and long-term conditions. Participate in the practice duty doctor rota, including triage and management of urgent presentations. Contribute to extended hours sessions as required. Complete clinical administration, including referrals, prescriptions, correspondence and statutory documentation. Work collaboratively with GP colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. Support the education and development of staff, trainees and medical students where appropriate. Maintain professional competence through continuing professional development and appraisal. Attend practice, clinical governance and multidisciplinary meetings. Support delivery of quality improvement initiatives and achievement of practice performance indicators.
