Old Kent Road Surgery, Southwark, South East London Job Summary Old Kent Road Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. Main Duties of the Role A mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations. Home visits as part of the clinical rota. Participation in the duty doctor/on-call rota. Reviewing investigations, prescriptions, correspondence and clinical documents. Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will undertake the full range of duties associated with General Practice, including: Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions. Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate. Prescribe safely and in accordance with national and local guidance. Review laboratory results, correspondence and clinical documentation. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS Web. Participate in duty doctor sessions and urgent care as part of the practice rota. Refer patients appropriately to secondary and community care services. Participate in practice meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Comply with all practice policies relating to confidentiality, safeguarding, information governance and health and safety.
