Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology

Applications are invited for the post of a 12-month fixed term Speciality Doctor in Ophthalmology at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust. We are looking for a dynamic doctor for the post of speciality doctor (fixed term) within a well-established Ophthalmology service. A minimum of 3 years comprehensive ophthalmology experience is essential of which a minimum of 2 years U.K. Ophthalmology experience is essential. This post offers significant clinical, laser and surgical exposure with the opportunity to gain subspecialty experience. The post is especially suitable for those seeking to gain CESR and get varied subspecialty experience. The post offers independent surgical, laser and clinical sessions. Research, teaching and Audit is actively encouraged and supported in the department with ample opportunities. The department has several NIHR portfolio studies in progress offering additional research opportunities. The post is offered with a job plan of 10 Professional Activities (PAs).
