About the role
Applications are invited for a full-time substantive consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery who is fellowship trained in knee surgery including revision knee replacement. This post is a replacement post accounting for a reduction in activity from existing members of the department as they become more senior. We welcome all applications irrespective of age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race or religion. Additionally, people with disabilities will be offered an interview providing they meet the minimum criteria for the post. The Trust operates job share and flexible working. The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust are now working in partnership as the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group. All future senior medical and dental appointments will be expected to work in collaboration across the Group and, irrespective of initial job description and job plan, be willing to work on more than one hospital site, dependent on service needs. Service location may change as our future models of care are developed by our clinically led networks through our acute clinical strategy. Some of the clinical procedures or services the appointee will be expected to deliver may be based at sites other than their primary site of employment. The Department
