This 12-month fixed-term post is an excellent introduction to specialised cancer care with experience in site-specific and inpatient clinical oncology including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other systemic therapies. The focus will be a combination of the coordination of in-patient care and experience of radiotherapy, outpatient, and acute admissions areas.The purpose of the post is to provide structured training and supervised clinical development. Whilst you will contribute to service delivery, there will be defined educational opportunities, supervised clinical practice, and experience aligned to Royal College of Radiologist's specialty training curriculum. The opportunities for education and supervision will be similar, including allocation of an educational supervisor for the duration of the post. We have a track record of successfully supporting senior fellows to gain national training numbers. You are required to meet the essential requirements as specified in the person specification. We expect you to have at least passed MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 written and ideally PACES. We are particularly looking for candidates who can work effectively in multi-professional teams, with strong communication skills, and are able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Shift patterns are expected to be 8.30-17.00 Monday- Friday. The expected start date is 5/8/26.
