Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist- Ludgate Ward

This is a fixed term appointment for one year for a 7 PA Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. The post is within male medium-secure rehabilitation and recovery and the community forensic service, within the Forensic Directorate of East London NHS Foundation Trust. The vacancy arises following the commissioning of a new ward. The post is based at John Howard Centre, 12 Kenworthy Rd. London. E9 5TD. The successful candidate will look after 10 patients on Ludgate Ward, a prison admission ward. They will be provided with an office and support services at the John Howard Centre. The post is available from 01 October 2026.

1. The post-holder will hold consultant responsibility for the inpatients on Ludgate Ward and will provide clinical leadership to the ward. Please see JD/PS for further details.
