Consultant Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join our Radiology Consultant team. Specialist interests can be potentially accommodated depending on speciality.

This Consultant post will join 25 existing Consultant Radiologists. The service provides diagnostic imaging services to Primary Care and all Trust Specialities with imaging provided at Torbay DGH, in Community sites and at a Community Diagnostic Centre. The role includes provision of on-call supported by Radiology Registrars.

This post is offered on a full-time basis and is available as soon as possible. You will be contracted to 10 programmed activities per week.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professional excellence and ability to deliver effective care. Previous experience working in the NHS is required.

Providing high quality diagnostic clinical reports, advice and opinion on all patient types from all referrers into the service.

To be proactive in supporting pathways which ensure that all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision making, whilst ensuring our standard to deliver safe quality and performance are delivered and sustained.
