The role of a General Practitioner at Operose Health involves delivering high-quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery. The practitioner will work closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the operational plan of the surgery. Key responsibilities include maintaining quality within the practice by participating in clinical governance activities and striving to improve quality health outcomes through audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework. The General Practitioner will also provide clinical care as described in the job plan, following the total triage model. This includes consultation sessions, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, and other clinical administration. Adhering to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and prioritizing individual patient care is essential. Additionally, the role involves working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery, and review of the surgery action plan.
