Optimised Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Consultant ENT Surgeon to join our growing elective healthcare service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a patient-focused organisation dedicated to reducing waiting times and delivering outstanding clinical outcomes through high-quality planned care.As a Locum Consultant ENT, you will play a key role in providing specialist outpatient consultations, post-operative follow-up care, and elective surgical procedures including Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Septoplasty, and Tonsillectomy. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver efficient patient pathways while maintaining the highest standards of safety, governance, and patient experience. This role offers flexibility, competitive locum rates, and the opportunity to focus on elective care without the pressures typically associated with emergency or on-call commitments. We are looking for a GMC Specialist Registered ENT Consultant with a strong track record in elective surgery, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centred care. Experience within independent healthcare or elective recovery programmes is highly desirable. The successful candidate will provide consultant-led ENT care across elective outpatient and surgical services, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of ENT conditions, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient experience at all times. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, you will contribute to the delivery of efficient and effective elective services, helping to improve access to care and reduce waiting times. The role involves undertaking planned surgical procedures, reviewing patient outcomes, and supporting the continuous development of clinical pathways and service quality. You will be expected to maintain excellent clinical governance standards, ensure accurate record keeping, and actively promote patient safety within all aspects of practice.
