Locum Consultant in the department of Paediatric Haematology

This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist, with special interests in Malignant Haematology & Stem Cell Transplantation.

This post will deliver 10PAs supporting the Paediatric Haematology team.

The post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary.

The successful applicant should possess MBChB or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.

Applicants should have established skills in Paediatric Haematology and its related specialties including stem cell transplant and malignant haematology. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and a research interest is desirable.
