About the role
A Senior Clinical Fellow (IMT3+, registrar grade) post is available in Acute Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital, London, Hampstead site. Theposts will be available immediately for a fixed term period, for a minimum of 12 months, with the option of extending if mutually desirable.
The Clinical job will include, but not be restricted to, leading the medical take, ward cover shifts and the care of short term medical patients, as well as helping to manage patients in the ambulatory Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) service. The Senior Clinical Fellow will primarily be based on the Acute Medicine wards and areas contributing to the on call rota. They will enable rapid discharge and provide timely review of patients under their care. The post holder will participate in Acute Medicine ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings. Working with the ward MDT and community teams they will develop person-centred plans for the management plans for in-patient care and post-discharge.
