Salaried GP

Oxgate Gardens Surgery is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice team . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established GP practice with a diverse and vibrant community. We are seeking a GP who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will join an experienced and supportive clinical team including GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists and administrative staff. The role is available for 4 sessions per week with a mixture of face-to-face and telephone consultations using EMIS Web. We offer a positive working culture, strong management support and opportunities to contribute to service development and innovation within primary care. Salary is competitive depending on experience under standard BMA salaried GP contract terms.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy general practice setting. Duties will include undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing safely, reviewing pathology results, processing clinical correspondence and maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS Web. The post holder will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of QOF, enhanced services and practice improvement initiatives. The role also includes participation in clinical meetings, maintaining good clinical governance and supporting continuity of care for patients. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism and a commitment to delivering safe and effective care.
