Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS

This is a unique opportunity to build something new, its much more than joining an established service. You will have the opportunity to help create one. Working closely with the Hospital Director and Medical Director, you will help set the clinical vision for the service and shape its development as part of Priorys growing CAMHS provision.

You will have the opportunity to: Shape a new CAMHS service from the ground up. Influence clinical pathways, models of care and service development. As Consultant and Responsible Clinician, you will play a central role in providing clinical leadership and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.

You will have the opportunity to influence clinical practice and service delivery, working collaboratively with the MDT and wider hospital leadership to develop a service that delivers excellent outcomes for young people.

Your responsibilities will include: Leading patient care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration. Assessing and managing complex CAMHS presentations. Chairing MDT and CPA meetings. Liaising closely with young people, families and external stakeholders. Providing clinical leadership alongside the Ward Manager. Supporting the development of effective patient pathways and models of care. Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development. Promoting high standards of clinical care, patient safety and positive outcomes. Flexible working arrangements, including part-time applications. There may also be opportunities, where appropriate, to retain existing NHS or private practice commitments.
