RNRU Neurology Consultant

The advertised post is for a Substantive NHS appointment split between Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Barts Health NHS Trust. The clinical work will be carried out onsite at Homerton University Hospital and Royal London Hospitals, with CPD at the regional neurosciences centre (The Royal London Hospital). This post is subject to joint clinical governance arrangements between Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder will be professionally and managerially accountable to Homerton University Hospital, while clinical activities undertaken at the Royal London Hospital will be delivered in accordance with Barts Health policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks. Both organisations are committed to shared standards for patient safety, quality improvement, clinical audit, appraisal, revalidation, and risk management, with clear escalation routes and collaborative oversight. The post will enhance continuity of care and ensure joined-up rehabilitation across Homerton the Royal London Hospital RAAR and RNRU. The new appointee will carry out general and acute neurology work, as well as specialist brain injury and neurorehabilitation work. They will undertake clinical leadership activities, and will work to a job plan
