About the role
North Bristol NHS Trust's Neuropsychiatry Service, based at The Rosa Burden Centre on the Southmead Hospital campus in Bristol, is a regional specialist service providing inpatient and outpatient care for adults with complex neuropsychiatric conditions. As part of the Neuroscience & Musculoskeletal Directorate, the service works closely with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology to deliver integrated, person-centred care pathways, alongside a neuropsychiatric liaison function to acute wards. The service includes a 12-bed inpatient unit (with specialist sleep investigation facilities) and a broad outpatient programme covering conditions such as epilepsy, functional neurological disorders, brain injury, sleep disorders, cognitive impairment and neuropsychiatric aspects of progressive neurological disease. The multidisciplinary team is highly collaborative, working with allied health professionals and regional networks to provide innovative, evidence-based care and support professional development. Applicants should have a CCT or be within six months of achieving this at the date of interview or be listed on the GMC's specialist register to be eligible for application for a substantive post. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of interview.
