As the full time Consultant Psychiatrist you will join the multidisciplinary team providing clinical leadership at Braeburn House, alongside another part time consultant psychiatrist and supported by a full time Specialty Doctor. The service has 28 beds across twowards providing treatment for men with mental disorders within a Level 2 Rehabilitation site. You will act as a Consultant / Responsible Clinician for patients in this setting. You will have CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams. The position of Consultant Psychiatrist at Elysium Healthcare is designed for professionals with experience in inpatient settings under the Mental Health Act provisions. Positioned at Braeburn House in Salford, the role requires the psychiatrist to work with men affected by mental disorders, providing treatment in a Level 2 Rehabilitation site. Responsibilities include taking clinical responsibility for service users with multidisciplinary rounds, risk reviews, and participating in strategical reviews. The psychiatrist is expected to bring a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team, contribute to management meetings, and take part in clinical governance meetings. Additional duties include contributing to in-house training programs and offering supervision to junior medical staff. Applicants must have MRC Psych or equivalent and demonstrate knowledge in change management and contemporary mental health issues.
