Working within a highly skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team comprising Specialist Occupational Health Nurses, a Mental Health Practitioner, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and other healthcare professionals, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership to drive excellence in service delivery while advancing a preventative, person-centred approach to employee health and wellbeing. In this influential role, you will: Provide strategic and clinical leadership across the Occupational Health Service. Enhance, develop, and continuously improve Occupational Health provision in line with best practice, organisational priorities, and workforce needs. Lead the ongoing transformation towards a preventative model focused on promoting health, reducing risk, and supporting long-term workforce wellbeing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure the effective delivery and management of high-quality Occupational Health services. Promote the highest clinical standards in Occupational Health practice and ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and compassionately. Actively contribute to the development of strategic and operational business plans, ensuring Occupational Health is recognised as a positive and influential partner within the organisation. Lead and strengthen a comprehensive health surveillance programme that safeguards staff health and meets statutory and regulatory requirements. Support initiatives that improve staff retention, attendance, wellbeing, and workplace performance. Participate in teaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision activities, supporting the growth and development of the Occupational Health workforce. Actively contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management, and audit programmes.
