Salaried GP Opportunity Mickleover Medical Centre, Derby Up to 6 Sessions per Week Competitive Salary | Supportive Team | Derby Suburbs Are you a dedicated GP looking to join a friendly, well organised and forward-thinking team? Due to list size expansion and the loss of our valued GP with a special interest in womens health, we are delighted to offer a new opportunity for a 4-6 session Salaried GP to join our vibrant practice. We are flexible on the number of sessions and invite conversations about what works best for you. Please note we are not a Tier 2 sponsoring employer and do not accept Agency solicitation. The Role Up to 6 sessions per week Team player with interest in constant improvement Essential interest in womens or female health including menopause, contraception and gynaecology LARC and coil experience desirable Shared duty doctor sessions (morning and afternoon) with no pre booked appointments Home visits are mostly managed by a home visiting service, though palliative and care home support remains valued Involvement in enhanced access sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings on a rota basis
Who We Are Mickleover Medical Centre is a forward thinking, supportive GP practice caring for around 13,100 patients in the leafy suburbs of Derby, serving a largely older demographic. Our Partners and experienced management team are committed to creating an environment where clinicians can focus on delivering high quality patient care. We are supported by an outstanding administrative team, led by our Practice Manager, who filter routine correspondence and normal results to help streamline workload and reduce unnecessary administrative burden. You will work alongside three GP Partners, five reliable Salaried GPs, two Nurse Practitioners, two Practice Nurses, a Health Care Assistant, two PCN Pharmacists, a First Contact Physiotherapist, a Care Coordinator and an amazing reception and admin team. We are also human outside work: cyclists, bakers, hikers, kickboxers and even bell ringers. And if you do not have a dog, we will happily lend you one. Why Join Us?
