Join the welcoming and highly regarded Radiology Team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trustas a permanent full-time or part-time General Radiology Consultant with a subspecialist interest. We are currently offering an exceptional £12,000 welcome payment:o £4,000 on joiningo £4,000 after 13 months' serviceo £4,000 after 25 months' service In addition, successful candidates may be eligible for a relocation package of up to £8,000(subject to terms and conditions). We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant Radiologists to join our friendly, collaborative and forward-thinking department. These are general radiology posts with opportunities to develop and expand subspecialty interests within a supportive and cohesive team environment. One post is offered at 10 PAs, whilst the second is offered at 9 PAs with potential scope to increase to 10 PAs depending on departmental changes. We welcome applications from candidates across all radiology subspecialties. However, we are particularly keen to hear from those with interests in:o Head & Neck Imagingo Breast Imagingo Genitourinary Radiology/Uroradiologyo Nuclear Medicine These areas are key to the continued growth of our services, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to help shape and enhance specialist pathways within the department. You will be expected to participate in the on call rota, currently 1 in 12. Overnight and weekend on-call working is supported by teleradiology with outsourcing for CT/MRI from 7pm to 9am on weekdays and 3pm to 9am at weekends. There is a separate networked Interventional Radiology on-call rota. Applicants must have FRCR or equivalent and are expected to hold, or to obtain within six months, UK Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training and entry on the Specialist Register.

Essential

Possession, or within 6 months of possession, of a CCT in Radiology leading to entry onto GMC Specialist Register
FRCR or equivalent
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
Ability to perform effectively as a member of a team, including a multidisciplinary team and to motivate and develop staff
Demonstrates clarity in written and spoken communication
To be empathetic and sensitive; capacity to take others perspective and treat others with understanding
Demonstration of an interest and commitment to teaching
Evidence of wide experience and a high level of competence in General Radiology including US, CT and MRI, and Specialist Radiology
Experience in managing risk and knows when to seek help, able to prioritise clinical need
Knowledge and application of up to date evidence based practice
