Primary Medical Qualification (e.g. MBChB)
MRCP (UK), MRCP (Endocrinology) or equivalent
CCT in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine
Full registration with the General Medical Council
Inclusion on the Specialist Register / Admission to the Register within 6 months of interview or within six months of entitlement)
Extensive experience in field of Endocrinology, with broad clinical expertise across the full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Demonstrates comprehensive experience in the assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and management of complex diabetes and endocrine conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Possesses the specialist knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for consultant-level practice within the scope of the role.
Demonstrates highly developed clinical judgement, with the ability to evaluate and manage complex patients, formulate prioritised differential diagnoses, initiate evidence-based management plans, and adapt treatment according to clinical response and evolving circumstances.
Demonstrates excellent practical clinical skills relevant to Diabetes and Endocrinology practice.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety principles, with a commitment to continuous service improvement.
