Salaried GP

Islip Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a well-established, forward-thinking dispensing practice located in a rural village just 5 miles from Oxford, serving a patient population of approximately 7,000, including one nursing home. Our patient per GP list size is significantly lower than the national average of 2,228. We are part of the KIWY Primary Care Network (Kidlington, Islip, Woodstock and Yarnton), providing access to a wide multidisciplinary team and shared learning opportunities. The PCN Clinical Director is also a Partner at the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritises both high-quality patient care and staff wellbeing.

Provide high-quality, patient-centred general practice care Undertake a mix of face-to-face and remote consultations Manage a varied clinical caseload, including patients in a local nursing home Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team within the practice and PCN Participate in clinical triage using the Accurx system Contribute to practice development and quality improvement initiatives
