Locally Employed Doctor (ST6+) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. This post is designed for doctors who have substantial previous experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and are able to work at a level equivalent to a senior registrar. The successful candidate will gain extensive experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology, whilst contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy tertiary referral centre and district general hospital environment. The post would be suitable for candidates who: Have completed core specialty training or equivalent experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Are preparing for higher specialty training or CESR pathways. Wish to further develop advanced clinical and surgical skills. Have an interest in medical education, leadership, quality improvement or research. Participation in the resident out-of-hours registrar rota will be expected. Contract: Fixed Term 12 months (extendable subject to service requirements and funding).
