Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff.
Track record of clinical governance, audit, management and IT skills.
Proven track record in innovation, service improvement and system redesign.
Experience in tele-dermatology.
Evidence of willingness to participate in a multi-disciplinary team environment to provide an integrated service.
MBChP, MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
FRCP or MRCP qualification.
CCT (or equivalent for non-UK applicants of equivalent status), or be accredited (or equivalent), and be on the GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology with a license to practice, at the time of taking up the consultant appointment. Alternatively, candidates can be within 6 months of their CCT at interview.
Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
Suitable previous Dermatology experience of adults and children.
Experience of and enthusiasm for clinical teaching of postgraduate doctors and non-medical staff.
Ability to teach clinical skills to trainees and multi-disciplinary teams.
Expertise in the full range of Dermatological conditions.
Understanding current issues within Dermatology and the future direction of the specialty.
Understanding current issues within the wider NHS.

Desirable

Critical Appraisal Skills.
Knowledge of Audit principles and evidence of participation in and completion of audit projects and the implementation of outcomes.
Car driver with current, clean driving licence.
Experience of using specific NHS databases or a willingness to learn.
Track record of leadership in the development of clinical services.
Relevant experience in undertaking and organising an audit.
