Join our Community Paediatrics team in Solihull and make a real difference to the lives of children,young people and their families.This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive,forward-thinking service within University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Community Paediatrician for a permanent 8PA post. Our service offers a diverse caseload including neurodevelopmental assessment,ADHD,special educational needs and disability, safeguarding, looked after children, complex health needs and special school clinics.You will work alongside experienced Consultants, Specialty Doctors,Specialist Nurses and allied health professionals committed to delivering high-quality,child-centred care. This is a great time to join our evolving service as we continue to develop innovative pathways and improve access for children and families.Opportunities exist to contribute to service development,strengthen neurodevelopmental pathways,support SEND initiatives and work collaboratively with acute paediatrics,CAMHS, community nursing,education and local authority partners. We offer a supportive environment with regular peer review,dedicated safeguarding support, monthly CPD opportunities and strong links with the Universities of Birmingham and Warwick.You would develop and have special interest in genetics, learning disability and ASD and lead on service improvement.
