About the role
We are looking to appoint a Part Time / 8PA's Consultant Haematologist with an interest in Myeloma at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Should any further vacancies arise shortlisted applicants will be considered.
With respect to this post, the appointee will work within a team dedicated to state-of-the-art and comprehensive management of plasma cell neoplasms (Myeloma, Plasmacytoma and Type AL Amyloid) including delivery of both autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant and CAR T cell therapy. The Myeloma team also looks after patients with Aplastic Anaemia and patients with Autoimmune + Neurological disorders undergoing intensive Haematology treatments.
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, contribute to the provision of inpatient, day case and outpatient haemato-oncology and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (as per JACIE standards).
